Brancaia's adventure in the world of wine in Tuscany began in 1981, when Bruno and Brigitte Widmer, a Swiss couple, bought some vineyards in Castellina in Chianti. From the beginning their goal was to produce quality, authentic wines in harmony with nature. Today, one of their children, Barbara, who studied oenology, runs the business with a team of 35+ people and the support of the whole family. Each Brancaia wine tells the story of the magical place in which it was created.
