Victoria Wines was founded on a single conviction: that the world's most compelling wines deserve a home in Hong Kong. Not every label. Not every vintage. The ones that tell a story — of a particular hillside, a family's obsession, a winemaker's quiet stubbornness in the face of fashion.

We taste widely so you don't have to guess. Every bottle on our shelves has earned its place.

How We Select Our Wines

Our selection process begins long before a wine reaches you. We travel to regions, meet producers, and taste through hundreds of bottles each year — from celebrated appellations across France, Italy, Spain, and the New World, to emerging regions that rarely make the shortlists.

We ask three questions of every wine we consider:

• Does it express its origin? Great wine is inseparable from where it comes from. We look for wines that speak clearly of their terroir — not wines engineered to please a score.
• Is it made with integrity? We favour producers who farm thoughtfully, intervene minimally, and let the vintage speak. Many of our growers are certified organic or biodynamic; all of them care deeply about what goes into the bottle.
• Does it belong on a table? Wine exists to be shared. We select with food in mind — wines that elevate a meal, spark conversation, and reward a second glass.

The result is a curated range of around 300 wines from 12 countries — broad enough to explore, focused enough to trust.

Tasting Events & Wine Dinners

We believe the best way to understand wine is to taste it — ideally alongside the people who made it. Throughout the year, we host a programme of events designed to bring our community closer to the wines and producers we love.

Grand Tasting
Our flagship annual event brings together over 300 wines from across our portfolio for an evening of discovery. Guests move freely between tables, guided by our team and visiting winemakers. Winery Meet-and-Greets
When producers visit Hong Kong, we create intimate evenings where guests can taste through a producer's range and ask the questions that don't fit on a back label. These sessions are small by design — the conversations are better that way.

Wine Dinners
In partnership with some of Hong Kong's finest restaurants, our wine dinners pair a curated flight with a chef's menu. Each dinner is built around a theme — a region, a grape variety, a vertical of a single estate — and designed to be as memorable at the table as it is in the glass.
