Tasting Note

A delightful straw yellow colour in the glass, it entices the senses with aromas of key lime and white peach with a hint of sweet honeysuckle. Layered flavours of baked apple, Asian pear and vanilla creme and balanced with a touch of flinty brightness that leads to a long , clean finish. A combination of two distinct styles of crisp refinement and rich elegance.

Situated in the heart of Sonoma’s renowned Russian River Valley, DeLoach is a pioneering producer of award-winning Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Zinfandel wines. The winery has over 45 years of experience experimenting with the perfect combination of soil, rootstock, and clones, resulting in high-quality, eco-friendly and now biodynamic wines.

In 2003, the Boisset family brought their sustainable winemaking experience from Burgundy, France, to California’s Russian River Valley and replanted estate vineyards with cover crops to revitalise the soil. DeLoach Vineyards consider themselves stewards of the land, with a profound responsibility to pass along a clean environment and revitalised, healthy soil to future generations. In that spirit, they look to the future with a new focus on eco-friendly and biodynamic farming practices, being awarded both organic and biodynamic certification.
