Domaine Neumeyer Pinot Gris Berger Schaefferstein 2019
Domaine Neumeyer Pinot Gris Berger Schaefferstein 2019
The nose gives little away but the palate speaks of pure, ripe and gently juicy pear fruit. There is a lovely pithy phenolic edge to the wine that balances the fruit. The overall impression is one of gentleness and purity. Lovely and moreish, with a dry finish.

Located on the hill at Molsheim, Domaine Neumeyer is a family-owned vineyard founded in 1925. With generations of knowledge and passion on winemaking, Jérôme and Marie of the fourth generation now dedicate care and commitment for Domaine Neumeyer to blossom fully.
Facing the southeast, vineyards of the winery are composed of limestone and shell soil that receive plenty of sunshine, making expressive and balanced wines showing rare delicacy. In the vineyards, they practice organic and sustainable viticulture. In the cellar, gentle pressing and sorting, minimalist vinification and use of indigenous yeasts are ways to preserve the potential of the terroir.
All their wines are the result of patience, respect and rigour deployed by the family centuries before, and they continue to make greatwines that reflect the best potential of vineyards located in the Alsatian towns.
