The Domaine Mazilly Père & Fils has belonged to the same family for four generations. In the early 1950s Pierre Mazilly took over from his grandfather. Today, the estate is run by Frédéric & Aymeric, the son and grandson of Pierre Mazilly. The winery is situated in Meloisey, a small wine-making village in the Côte de Beaune district, a few kilometres from Pommard. The 18-hectare estate is mainly situated in the Hautes Côtes de Beaune, but some of the Frédéric and Aymeric Mazilly produce gourmet red wines full of fruit with a well-controlled woodiness and rich and fatty white wines, balanced and structured on the palate.
