This wine shows classic Pipeclay stella cherry and blackberry with a slight spice kick and light violet florals. The wine displays lovely flow with a perfumed dark berry entry which moves into a rich and sensuous finish.

The Great New Zealand Pinot Noir Classification was set up by British wine writer Matthew Jukes and Australian Tyson Stelzer they call it "a purposeful contrast to static classifications such as the famous Bordeaux 1855 Classification”. Mt. Difficulty has again received a 5 Star Rating for the 6th Consecutive Year. Mt. Difficulty is one of only 4 New Zealand wineries with 5 stars.
