Morgenster Lourens River Valley 2013

Morgenster Lourens River Valley 2013
Merlot in the lead, soft whiffs of light red and darker red berries, sweet strawberry and sniffs of coffee. Then comes the herbaceous lavender and thyme, Cabernet franc cinnamon and nutmeg as well as the Cabernet Sauvignon cassis. Rounded silky tannins, already soft and velvety. Beautiful balance and great finesse to round off a stunner of a vintage.
