One of the most respected houses in the Rhône, Vins de Vienne offers an exceptional choice of wines from both the North and South Rhône under one banner. In 1996 three winemakers from the Northern Rhône, Yves Cuilleron, Pierre Gaillard and François Villard joined forces to realize a dream: together they would recreate the historic vineyards of Seyssuel north of Vienne in South Eastern France. The region was renowned since Roman times for its outstanding wines, but production stopped in the 1890s, when the vines were decimated by phylloxera.
In addition to producing wines from these replanted vineyards in Vienne (appellation IGP des Collines Rhodaniennes), the three winemakers offer a comprehensive range of appellations throughout the region, including: Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage, Cornas, Saint-Peray, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas and Côtes-du-Rhône.
