Summer Coolers

Summer in Hong Kong can be punishingly hot. Unrelenting Sun, warm rain, hot nights and if there is any wind it is a Typhoon! Cool off in the best way possible, a bottle of chilled wine or a cocktail.

It isn't just white wines and rosé that work cold - there are plenty of reds out there to satisfy a hot thirst. Think Pinot Noir, Gamay, Grenache and even Valpolicellas. These wines won't be ruined by cooler temperatures so get them in a fridge next to your whites if you want to cool down. If you don't fancy that option you can always make a lovely sangria.

Just remember the golden rule – wine ON ice, NOT ice in wine!
